When Fairies Fail

When fairies fail — when Santa doesn’t come, and there’s no home in which to have a halloween party, and the throbbing in your sprained ankle is worsened by sleeping cramped in a storage garage chair — where does the comfort and solace come from?

 

I am making a painting in honor of homeless children for the Whole Foods Taste of Thanksgiving event to benefit SHARE, on November 10, at which Autumn Traveler will be auctioned.

 

And, I will tell you the story of me and my son, when our fairies failed…in a bit, after I’ve worked up the nerve..
